Bush & Beach Escape

Day 1
ARRIVAL – NELSPRUIT
Guests arrive at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport latest by 11:00am, in order to reach the lodge in time for lunch, and are transferred by road (own account) to Lukimbi Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park.

Guests can enjoy lunch on arrival (if in time) and then depart for a late afternoon/evening game drive in an open safari vehicle, returning for dinner at the lodge in one of the dining areas.

Day 2-3
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
An early wake up call is followed by a morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, returning in time for breakfast.

The days are spent at leisure, enjoying the various areas around the lodge, such as the lounge, the bar, the dining room or one of the relaxation alcoves on the upper or lower deck, or in the library. On hot days, enjoy the pool area on the banks of the Lwakahle River, with its multi-leveled relaxation decks.

Afer lunch, you then head off on the sunset safari, sipping on a G&T as you witness the sun’s fall in a glorious blaze of colours, then returning to the lodge for dinner. The location can vary, including the dining room, the upper or lower deck, the private wine cellar, and the traditional African boma (with a twist).

Day 4
VILANCULOS
After enjoying your last morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for the flight connection (own account) via O.R. Tambo International Airport to Vilanculos Airport (own account) arriving around 13:45pm.

You will then take a road transfer (own account) from Vilanculos to Massinga Beach Lodge – approx. 2.5 hours.

Day 5-7
INHAMBANE
Whether you wish to relax and re-charge or prefer an activity filled day, Massinga Beach has something to suit your needs. A unique beach bar and pool, set amongst natural boulders and right at the edge of the warm sea, provide comfort and drinks to sun-lovers.

For the active guest, there are a range of activities on-site, such as non-motorised sports, beach games, bicycle rides on the beach during low tide, and snorkelling at Fingers Rock formation.

Off-site activities include fishing, scuba diving, ocean safaris, and day trips.

Tantalise your taste buds with our chef’s choice set menu using only the freshest ingredients available.

Day 8
DEPARTURE – VILANCULOS
After breakfast, you will then depart Massinga Beach Lodge on a road transfer (own acount) back to Vilanculos Airport for your outbound flight (own account) to your next destination at around 13:45.
