DAY 1
ARRIVAL – ANTANANARIVO
Guests are welcomed on arrival by their guide in Antananarivo and transferred to their hotel for the night. La Maison Gallieni is in heart of the historic district of the capital, at a high point of Antananarivo which offers a magnificent view of the city. The hotel has a beautiful garden and guests can enjoy dinner at the restaurant.

DAY 2
ANTANANARIVO – DIEGO SUAREZ
After breakfast, guests are transferred to the airport for a scheduled flight to Diego Suarez, where they will be met by the guide. Depending on domestic flight schedule, guests will visit the three bays on the Indian Ocean, and later that afternoon after a picnic lunch, drive to Joffreville and the lodge.

Nature Lodge is located at the gates of Amber Mountain National Park, offering 12 beautiful spacious bungalows in wood, raffia, and bamboo, each with private bathroom and large terrace. The lodge affords guests with a superb panoramic view of Diego Bay, Amber Cape and the Mozambique Channel. Dinner is enjoyed in the vast restaurant that extends to a panoramic terrace.

DAY 3
AMBER MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
Guests enjoy breakfast before going to explore the Amber Mountain National Park, known for its endemic fauna and flora (with several rare species), waterfalls and crater lakes. There are seven types of lemurs that are found here, including crowned and Sanford lemurs. Along with various chameleons, geckos, many colourful birds, guests can look out for the world’s smallest chameleon. Guests enjoy a picnic lunch, and then later head back down to the hotel. Dinner will once again be enjoyed at the lodge restaurant.

DAY 4
DIEGO SUAREZ – NOSY ANKAO
After breakfast, guests go down to Arachard Diego Suarez Airport, where the hotel’s helicopter is waiting to transfer them to the archipelago of Nosy Ankao, on the west coast in the Indian Ocean. The flight over the area is an enchanting experience on its own. Guests receive a friendly welcome on what will be their island for the next few days.

DAY 5 – 8
NOSY ANKAO
Time is spent at leisure over the next 4 days, enjoying all that the resort has to offer. Guests can choose from a variety of activities on land, on the water, under water or even in the air.

Land excursions include guided island tours, lemur trekking, nature walks, turtle tracking, bird watching or tree planting. However, for the less active guest, there is also the boutique shop, the spa or yoga classes. Water excursions include both those above and under water, such as non-motorised watersports, fishing or boating, and snorkeling or scuba diving.

Half-day helicopter excursions are available for guests to visit the nearby mainland and several national parks.

DAY 9
NOSY ANKAO – DIEGO – ANTANANARIVO
DEPARTURE
After breakfast, guests are transferred by helicopter to Diego Suarez Airport in time for their domestic flight to the capital. From here, guests are greeted at the airport and assisted with their outbound flight.
